As a Security Officer - Full-Time Rover Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants, visitors, and staff with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, report concerns, and work as part of a team that lives Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, integrity, and a caring people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, loading docks, garages, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including activating site notifications, coordinating with property management, and contacting local emergency services when directed by post orders.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity as required by site procedures, including checking credentials, directing traffic flow, and documenting after-hours entries and exits.
  • Complete patrol logs and detailed incident reports, document observations and follow-up actions, and communicate shift activity and security-related trends to on-site personnel and Allied Universal supervision.
