About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Saint Cloud, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid are preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the financial institution location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activities.
Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.
Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to support security-related operations.
