Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Real Estate Company in Boston MA Tuesday, Friday 7 AM - 3 PM and Saturday, Sunday 11 PM - 7 AM Starting Pay is $22.15 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / Opportunity For Advancement As a Security Officer - in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to tenants, visitors, and staff within the location.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and/or granting entry as directed by site policies.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff to address questions and provide information about site policies and procedures.
