About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Site -Weekdays in Flushing, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and badge checks as needed. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, documenting observations and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor traffic, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and/or response steps per site procedures.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related operations such as CCTV and alarm monitoring as assigned.
