About The Position

As a Security Officer - Health Insurance Office Building Patrol in Camp Hill, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly with those you encounter. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, addressing the needs of staff, patients, and visitors as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities such as property damage, theft, or unusual activity.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials as needed.
Communicate professionally with healthcare personnel, visitors, and others at the location, providing assistance as necessary.
Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific requirements.
