Job Description As a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a major transportation hub, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all visitors and personnel. You will remain visible throughout your shift, respond promptly to situations as they arise, and provide exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the transportation environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
Communicate promptly and professionally with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as required.
Support access control measures and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Maintain thorough and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site procedures.
