This is an Onsite working arrangement at our Sacramento, CA location. About you You're a dependable self-starter who s interested in managing the day-to-day security operations of one of our commercial buildings. It's one of the first steps towards a rewarding career in corporate security in the growing field of commercial real estate. You have a strong work ethic and bring a positive, customer-centric approach in everything you do. You will learn how to operate and manage security video, C-Cure building access, fire alarm, intercom, telephone, public address system, NVR systems and two-way radio communications systems. You will also maintain the security and safety of the building by managing approved after-hours access, incident reports and being ready for emergency situations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • A clear criminal history and you must pass a drug test.
  • An ability to obtain a valid California BSIS Guard Card within 6 months
  • Ability to stand at post for prolonged periods of time, walk patrols on regular basis, and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Be certified - or obtain certification within 6 months - in first aid, CPR and AED.

  • Operate and manage NVR systems
  • Operate and manage two-way radio communications systems
  • Maintain the security and safety of the building by managing approved after-hours access, incident reports and being ready for emergency situations.
  • Monitor emergency broadcast messages and life safety scanner.
  • Maintain accurate reports and logs of after-hours access, incidents and activities.
  • Have professional and positive interactions with tenants, clients, staff and the public.
