As a Security Officer Morning Shift in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles).
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with location requirements and established post orders.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts as needed.
