About The Position

As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes providing exceptional customer service and communication while monitoring assigned areas. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to enforce policies regarding entry and exit, particularly in a technology, media, or telecommunications environment.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed to address incidents or provide information.
Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions throughout the location, adapting to various working environments as required.
