Job Description As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes providing exceptional customer service and communication while monitoring assigned areas. This driving position offers the opportunity to be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, with a strong focus on people and integrity.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or first aid is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to enforce policies regarding entry and exit, particularly in a technology, media, or telecommunications environment.
- Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Communicate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed to address incidents or provide information.
- Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions throughout the location, adapting to various working environments as required.
