Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents, guests, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter spaces, to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and provide directions and assistance to support the daily operations of the location.
Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift notes related to patrol activity, resident interactions, and/or security-related concerns observed during the shift.
