As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading Tech/Media/Telecom location, you will play a key role in greeting visitors, managing access control, and providing exceptional customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents by remaining present and attentive at the front desk, utilizing computer or tablet systems, and supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the location's guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures and instructions from Allied Universal and the site team.
Maintain an organized and orderly front desk area, helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive monitoring.
