As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and stay visibly present to help reduce security-related incidents, while delivering standout customer service and clear communication. You will observe and report unusual activity, assist visitors and employees, and support site procedures with professionalism. Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify authorization where required, and report unusual activity, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
- Complete routine reports, incident logs, and patrol documentation using required systems, maintaining clear communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
