As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and assist staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

Minimum 1 year or more of Security experience required
Must be comfortable using computers or tablets
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Have 1+ years of security-related experience.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the location, including entrances, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas, as directed by post orders.
Monitor access points and help manage the flow of employees, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
Observe for unusual activity, hazards, damaged doors or gates, and/or unauthorized persons, and report findings promptly through the chain of command.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site leadership and/or public services when needed.
Complete routine and incident reports with clear, accurate details, including times, actions taken, and notifications made.
Use radios, phones, and/or other communication tools to coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Support shipping and receiving operations by monitoring designated areas for security-related concerns and documenting exceptions per site policy.
Perform checks of secured areas after hours as directed, helping to confirm doors, gates, and restricted areas are in the expected condition.
Maintain a professional presence that helps to deter unwanted activity while following all site rules and customer service expectations.
