In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and a visible presence. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences, to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Assist with implementing site-specific protocols related to manufacturing and industrial environments, including adherence to operational guidelines and procedures.
Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and collaborating with Allied Universal and client representatives as needed.
