Job Description As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and remaining highly visible and approachable. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver's license. You will monitor assigned areas, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with clients and visitors as part of the Allied Universal team.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor the environment for any unusual activity and report findings according to site procedures.
Document incidents and maintain accurate records as required by site protocols.
Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and team members to support a secure and welcoming environment.
Follow all instructions from Allied Universal and site management regarding security-related tasks and emergency procedures.
