As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Vaccinations are required for work in hospital environments.
Ability to work in hospital morgue environments is required.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate within a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism in all interactions at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns, adapting to the unique environment of a healthcare location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or security-related issues encountered during patrols.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.
