As an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and communications location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and documenting findings.
• Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures; direct visitors and deliveries as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing initial assessment, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services, and assisting with scene control.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership.
