Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a Distribution Center, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help maintain an orderly environment. You will stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts, visitors, and your Allied Universal team. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the distribution location, including interior areas, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and loading dock zones.
• Monitor access points and visitor processing, assisting with badge checks, sign-in procedures, and directing deliveries and/or pickups according to site requirements.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation, and communicate observations and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
