As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with computers or tablets is preferred.
  • Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or situations that may impact people, property, or operations at the location.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents or security-related concerns.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports as required by site protocols and Allied Universal policies.
