About The Position

The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking a dedicated Second Shift Security Officer to join our team in Longboat Key, FL. This role is essential in maintaining the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property during the evening hours.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification preferred
• Previous experience in security or related field preferred.
• Ability to work second shift hours, typically in the afternoon through overnight.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Valid security officer license or certification, if applicable in Florida.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol resort premises during the second shift to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, providing assistance and reporting as necessary.
• Conduct regular security checks of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Maintain logs and reports of daily activities and any irregularities.
• Collaborate with management and local law enforcement when required.
• Enforce resort policies and procedures with professionalism and courtesy.
• Other reasonable duties and shifts are requested.
