Jewett Orthopedic Institute - Downtown Orlando Complex One of the region’s largest orthopedic and sports medicine providers, Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute’s world-class team of orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians specialize in conditions and injuries of the spine, hand, upper extremities, foot, ankle and lower extremities, as well as joint replacement, concussions, interventional pain management, bone health and orthopedic trauma. The institute’s Downtown Complex brings the whole spectrum of orthopedic and spine care under one roof and includes an orthopedic specialty hospital featuring 75 private inpatient rooms, 10 advanced OR suites, and a research and innovation center with a bio skills lab and 3D printer. Institute physicians also lead a robust clinical research and education program. An adjacent medical pavilion houses a 63-exam-room outpatient clinic, imaging suite, physical therapy spaces and ambulatory surgery center. Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word for report writing purposes.
Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier’s requirements and standards.
(Security officers, who are unable to maintain this requirement after at least 90 days of employment must sign a “No Driving Document” which will be maintained in the officers department file and remain in effect until the approval to drive is given by the insurance carriers as determined during routine driving records checks.)
Must obtain a State of Florida Class “D” Security Officer License through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services within 120 days of hire which must be renewed biannually before the license expires.
Must obtain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification within 120 days of hire which must be renewed annually before the certification expires.
Must obtain a Basic Security Officer Certification or higher level of certification through the International Association of Hospital Security and Safety within 120 days of hire and maintained at all times during employment.
1 year of previous Security experience required.
