As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, where you will use your skills to support a secure environment in line with Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document observations and/or incidents according to established protocols and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, students, and staff with inquiries and directions, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere at the location.
Follow all post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
