Job Description As a Security Officer - Full Time - Overnights in East Dubuque, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the chemical or petrochemical environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff regarding security-related matters.
Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Follow all company and client protocols for access control and visitor management.
