As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post and is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents in accordance with company and client protocols.
Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed to address incidents and security-related matters.
Complete required reports and logs accurately and promptly as part of daily duties.
