Job Description As a Security Officer in Plano, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a secure environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment appropriate for an aerospace and defense location.
