As a Security Officer in Richardson, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site-specific protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while performing assigned duties.
Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
