Now Interviewing for Full Time Security Officers! Working in conjunction with a Metropolitan Transit Task Force and our client security teams. MetroLink security professionals provide safety and security of riders on the transit light rail system, station platforms throughout the Greater St. Louis region. Customer service skills are a high priority. This is an outdoor posted position. Duties will include post security until relieved.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Computer Literacy

Nice To Haves

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, public areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with site rules and post orders.
Support Allied Universal and site personnel by communicating clearly with the public, staff, and/or first responders during routine operations and unusual events.
