Job Description As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Observe and report any suspicious or unusual activity in accordance with site protocols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of daily activities and incidents as required by site procedures.
  • Support emergency response efforts and communicate with Allied Universal management and local authorities when necessary.
