Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location as an unarmed patrol officer, helping to monitor and patrol common areas, parking areas, and tenant spaces. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols as a driving post, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support guests and store teams with courteous communication and quick response. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, corridors, restrooms, loading areas, and exterior perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, lost and found situations, medical calls, and tenant or guest concerns, and/or coordinating with local emergency services when needed.
• Monitor entrances, service corridors, and restricted areas; verify access where required; and assist with crowd flow during peak shopping periods and special events.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate notable observations to site management, and use surveillance and/or communication equipment as assigned to support security-related operations.
