You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and support tenants and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, property staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by observing for unusual activity, reporting concerns, and following site procedures for keys, badges, gates, and/or elevators.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to site management and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal supervision to support consistent post operations.
