Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Security Officer for a Management Company in South Boston MA Sunday - Thursday 7 AM - 3 PM Starting Pay is $22.64 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available Ideal Candidate Has Customer Service Experience and is Comfortable With Computers As a Security Officer in South Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment at the location. You will monitor access, assist guests and staff, and respond to security-related situations with professionalism. Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or emergencies according to company and client procedures.
  • Assist with visitor management, including issuing visitor passes and logging visitor information as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with emergency services and Allied Universal management.
