About The Position

Securitas Security Services is expanding its Security Team at Lonza in Newington, NH, seeking both Part-Time and Full-Time Security Officers for various shifts. The ideal candidate may have a background in military service, law enforcement, or security, along with strong leadership and managerial capabilities. While previous security or management experience is preferred, it is not required, as Securitas provides a comprehensive training program to support success. The role is suitable for individuals at any career stage, from those just starting out to those in retirement. Requirements

18 Years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
Standard computer / technology skills needed
Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, & have a strong work ethic
Strong customer service skills
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
Must be able to conduct foot and/or mobile patrols throughout shift – During various weather conditions
Must be able to stay alert & have great attention to detail
Must be comfortable conducting access control duties
Must have a reliable means of transportation & communication
Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements
Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Keyboarding, basic computer usage, and operating controls
Seeing, hearing, speaking and writing clearly in order to communicate with employees and clients, observe and report incidents, and direct others
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
Occasionally reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
On occasion it may be required to perform stressful and physical activity
May be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others
May be exposed to or required to handle sensitive and confidential information

Responsibilities

Conduct foot and/or mobile patrols throughout shift, including during various weather conditions

Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and pressure
