As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and badge procedures. You will use a computer and/or tablet to document activity and communicate clearly while delivering standout customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by following post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, docks, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns for notification.
• Monitor access points, check identification and/or visitor credentials, and control entry for authorized personnel and deliveries while maintaining required logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with de-escalation, and coordinating with on-site leadership and/or local responders as directed.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities using written logs and/or electronic systems, and communicate status updates during shift turnover.
