Job Description As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Milwaukee, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, and teamwork in every interaction.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions that may impact the operations of the location.
- Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
- Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
