Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and values innovative service.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor customer and associate activity for unusual behavior, assist with access control and/or asset protection support, and document incidents according to site requirements.
• Communicate with store management, employees, visitors, and/or first responders regarding security-related concerns, incidents, and ongoing observations.
