As an unarmed, driving patrol officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity. You will help to deter unwanted activity through a strong visible presence, support access control, and provide clear customer service focused communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout offices, studios, data and equipment areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and policy concerns.
• Monitor access control points and screening processes, including checking identification, managing visitor logs, issuing temporary badges as directed, and directing deliveries to designated locations.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and communication systems, respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public responders per post orders.
• Document patrols, access activity, and incidents using written reports and/or electronic systems, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders during shift transitions.
