About The Position

The organization is seeking a Security Officer to provide a physical presence for the prevention and detection of adverse conditions, ensuring the safety and security of the hospital environment and protecting patients, visitors, staff, and facility assets. This role involves interacting with a diverse group of people, often in difficult or stressful communication scenarios, requiring strong interpersonal skills to manage complex and sensitive situations and gain agreement from others.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic Life Support and CPI within 60 days
- High School diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Law enforcement or criminal justice coursework preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide a physical presence for the purpose of prevention and/or detection of adverse conditions which would place the safety and security of the hospital environment at risk while protecting welfare of patients, visitors, staff and facility assets
