As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout a dynamic tech and media location. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, both inside and outside, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and guests as needed.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entry points to help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
- Communicate promptly with management, site contacts, and/or local authorities as required during incidents or emergencies.
