As a Security Officer in Mansfield, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control with badges and visitor guidance, respond to alarms and/or concerns, and deliver people-first customer service through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology-focused location, including offices, production or warehouse areas, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery logs, verifying identification and directing individuals according to site procedures.
- Operate site security-related systems such as CCTV, intrusion alarms, and communications equipment, and complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation.
