About The Position

Securitas is hiring for a Full-Time Security Officer immediately to help keep our government clients site safe in the Montpelier, VT area! Pay: $25.00/hr Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (30 minute unpaid lunch break) This position is for a TEMPORARY detail which will run until May 2026. Requirements

Highly personable with strong customer service skills - must be comfortable with frequent interactions with the public
High level of professionalism
Walking/standing for long periods of time
VT Guard Card - our hiring team will assist you in applying for this license once hired
Valid driver's license
At least 18 years old

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service with a strong sense of professionalism
Observe and report in and near the property, identifying and responding to any potential threat or safety hazard
Conduct hourly foot patrols of the property
Operate a walk-through metal detector and X-ray baggage scanner
Conduct screenings with a handheld wand detector
