About The Position

Securitas is hiring for a highly motivated Security Supervisor to help keep our clients site safe in Rutland, Vermont! The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

Attention to detail, vigilance, and a commitment to compliance are essential in this critical role!
At least 21 years old
Strong customer service skills and professionalism
Quick judgment and ability to safely and swiftly de-escalate situations
Prior experience (at least 2 years) in a security role
Ability to obtain Vermont Guard Card (includes a $40 application fee) - we will assist you in applying for this upon accepting an offer of employment!
Walking/standing for long periods of time
Willingness to be outside in all types of weather for patrolling purposes
Valid driver's license and CLEAN driving record
Comfortable operating a company vehicle during mobile patrols

Nice To Haves

Experience in supervisory roles preferred, especially in security or related fields
Experience in customer service roles preferred
