Job Description As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular driving patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service, all while embracing our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation to create a welcoming environment for everyone on site.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment in a technology, media, or telecommunications location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address concerns and uphold security-related standards specific to a technology, media, or telecommunications environment.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
