About The Position

Security Officer (River Landing) Location: Colfax, NC Job Id: 2559 # of Openings: 1 Full Time 2nd shift (4:30 pm to 12:30 am) Security Officer SAT, SUN, TUES, and WED at Friends Homes 32 hours a week, full time This position is managed by the Public Safety Department at River Landing at Sandy Ridge River Landing is currently seeking a full-time security officer at Friends Homes Campus. This position will be managed by the Public Safety Department at River Landing and will be an employee of River Landing. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience as a security officer or guard. This service includes: Performing security patrols on foot or in vehicle Maintaining site security and watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards Permitting authorized persons to enter property Preparing reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities Providing assistance to residents, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Responding to emergencies Ensuring the safety of all residents

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid NC drivers license
Must be at least 21 years old
Desire to serve senior adults
Positive outlook
Ability to take initiative and be detailed oriented
Working independently and on a team
Flexible and able to handle a fast pace
Great communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

Performing security patrols on foot or in vehicle
