As a Security Officer Full Time in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role offers the chance to support shoppers, tenants, and staff through strong communication, routine patrols, and a people-first approach. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
- Monitor activity on the property to help identify unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access, and document observations according to site procedures.
- Assist visitors, shoppers, and store personnel with directions, general information, and other security-related support needs while maintaining a professional presence.
