As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and customer service skills will support a positive experience for everyone onsite. By performing routine patrols and communicating with staff and visitors, you will play a key role in supporting a secure atmosphere while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel promptly.
Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials, and monitoring entrances and exits as required.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and other Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site-specific protocols.
