About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare in Morris Plains, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entry points and common areas to assist in maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
Support Allied Universal and client management by carrying out additional security-related duties as assigned.
