About The Position
As a Security Officer - Full Time Mornings in Oshkosh, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will engage with employees and visitors through clear communication and customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific, security-related procedures, access requirements, and post orders at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor alarms, CCTV, and/or other site systems as assigned, and document observations, patrol activity, and notable events in written and/or electronic reports.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, assisting with scene control, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
- Control entry and exit points by checking identification, verifying visitor appointments, managing vehicle and truck traffic as assigned, and enforcing site rules in a professional manner.
