As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access control and guest logs, and monitor cameras and alarms for security-related activity. You will respond to requests with a people-first mindset, document incidents and/or service calls, and communicate clearly with property staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific, security-related procedures and property policies for a commercial real estate location.
  • Greet and screen visitors, issue visitor credentials, manage sign-in logs, and direct guests and deliveries to the appropriate tenant or building contact.
  • Monitor building access points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and/or intercoms, and report irregular activity to the appropriate parties.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and shift activity logs, communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management, and support coordination with first responders as needed.
