About The Position

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. The person in this role will provide prompt assistance to guests, support front desk operations, conduct regular security checks, and complete housekeeping-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service, communication (written and verbal), and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Must demonstrate honesty, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Discreet and respectful when handling sensitive matters.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and able to handle emergency situations confidently.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to effectively manage hotel guests who may be unruly while always remaining respectful.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct exterior and interior patrols of the hotel premises on a regular basis.
  • Ensure that the parking area is safe and secure.
  • Check the doors around the hotel and ensure they are properly locked.
  • Patrol hallways and ensure the rooms occupied by the guests are quiet.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, and emergencies.
  • Respond to all reported disturbance calls and be aware of unauthorized persons on property.
  • Follow all hotel policies and emergency response procedures.
  • Monitor the alarms and assist guest if evacuation is necessary in case of emergency.
  • Keep in contact with the Night Auditor and assist as needed.
  • Promptly respond to guest service calls for additional linens, towels, pillows, blankets, or other amenities, minor maintenance issues (e.g., TV not working, clogged toilet, A/C problems)
  • Provide a visible and reassuring security presence throughout the property.
  • Check inventory and notify appropriate staff if supplies are running low.
  • Perform other job-related dues as assigned.
